Tyler Kell Plemons

Pelham

Tyler Kell Plemons, age 26, of Pelham, Ala. went to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, Oct. 18 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Tyler was born in Roanoke, Va. on Oct. 28, 1987. His family moved to Orlando, Fla. in 1990 before settling in Pelham in 1996 when Tyler was eight years old. He graduated from Pelham High School in 2006 and attended the University of Alabama. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan and a talented musician.

He is survived by his parents, Edwin F. Plemons and Kathy (Elders) Angel Plemons; his brother, Phil Plemons (Lisa) of Oxford, Ala.; his brother, Andy Angel (Melissa) of Roanoke, VA; nieces, Amelia and Allie Plemons, Analea and Kylie Angel, and Molly Kinyon; aunts and uncles, Barbara Jones, Betty Foster, Judy Elders, Bobbie and George Schladensky, Bill Plemons, Ralph Elders, Ky Elders; many cousins; Tyler’s special friend, Rebecca Leanne Wiggins; and a host of other friends that Tyler also considered his family. Tyler was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard W. Plemons and Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Elders, Sr.; his uncle, Robert N. Elders, Jr.; and his sister, Lisa Plemons Kinyon.

Tyler played football for Pelham High School and proudly wore the number 47 for the Panthers. As a talented musician and songwriter, he played with several bands including his own, Maybe Later. He played saxophone, piano, and guitar and co-wrote a song with good friend Bryan Bos for the City of Pelham, “Pelham Days,” which was featured at the Pelhambration city festival last year. He was an active member of the University of Alabama’s Telecommunication and Field Department’s amphitheater crew and helped jump-start an internship program. He was active in the Birmingham Summer Fest Program and attended Camp Broadway in New York City.

Tyler founded his own production company, Teeter Productions. He was also a dedicated employee and considered one of the top drivers of Two Men and A Truck moving company for the Birmingham area.

Tyler never met a stranger. He always had a huge smile on his face and greeted everyone with a hug. His personality and his passion for life would light up a room. Anyone who had the honor of knowing him will tell you he had a heart of gold. He will forever live in the hearts of his loved ones.
