Ever wondered what Relay For Life is or what it is about? Consider attend Relay for Life’s upcoming interest meeting.

Relay For Life of West Shelby, which encompasses the communities of Alabaster, Calera and Montevallo, will hold the meeting on Monday Oct. 27 at the Calera Library at 9700 Alabama 25 Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the meeting will start at 6:30 p.m.

During the meeting, Relay officials will also be looking for people who are interested in helping plan the 2015 Relay. Positions are available for chairpersons, committee members, team captains, team members and helpers in general.

Relay For Life of West Shelby will be held April 17, 2015, at Oliver Park in Calera.
