PELHAM—October isn’t just about Halloween at Pelham’s haunted house attraction, Warehouse 31. It’s also breast cancer awareness month. On Oct. 24 and 25, Warehouse 31 is hosting Bedazzle a Bra for Breast Cancer, a fundraiser for breast cancer research.

“It’s breast cancer awareness month, I wanted to come up with something that was fun and exciting,” Warehouse 31’s Carly Burt said.

Warehouse 31 is asking everyone who stops by the haunted house on Friday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 25 to bring by a bra decorated.

“We’re going to make a donation for each bra,” Burt said, noting proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at the UAB.

Participants are encouraged to get creative with their decorations because each bra will be entered in a contest for the best-decorated bra. A winner will be chosen each night and will receive a pair of VIP tickets to Warehouse 31 for Halloween weekend.

Warehouse 31, located at 3050 Lee Street, offers two indoor attractions, a traditional haunted house and a 3-D maze experience. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and food and drinks are available for purchase. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit Warehouse31.com.
