Virginia I. Lankford Reed, age 85, died on Saturday, Oct. 25 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Eugene Reed, Sr. and sister, Mary Ann Hester (Dickie). She is survived by her sons, Kip Reed (Cherrie) of Collierville, Tenn., and Tim Reed (Lynn) of Andalusia, Ala.; sisters, Peggy Bailey and Bennie Hughes (Ronald); brother, Terry Lankford (Betty) of Fort Payne, Ala.; and grandchildren, Will, Catie, Blake (Kelsey) and Kim.

Ms. Reed was a member of Wilsonville Baptist Church and an avid bowler. High Point Funeral Home in Memphis, Tenn. has charge. Services will be at Bolton Funeral Home in Columbiana on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. with internment immediately following at Pine Lawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be may to the Alzheimer’s Association.
