COLUMBIANA–Motorists may see a few delays in the coming weeks on Shelby County Road 26 from Columbiana to Saginaw as a resurfacing project is expected to begin the week before Thanksgiving.

Shelby County Engineer Randy Cole informed commissioners Monday, Oct. 27 of the upcoming project during the highway review portion of the commission meeting.

“We would like to try and get this project finished before we get into the colder months,” said Cole.

The roadwork will take place during daytime hours and is expected to be about a six-week project.
