Phobe Lynn Bowden Wright

Lawrenceville, Ga.

Phoebe Lynn Bowden Wright, 59, of Lawrenceville, Ga. died Oct. 28 after a heroic battle with colon cancer.

Phoebe is survived by her husband of thirty-two years, Fred Wright; three sisters, Mary Kathleen Jackson of Wilton, Janice Elizabeth Dawson of Calera and Harriett Jackson of Montevallo; one brother, James Wamon Bowden of Montevallo; and step-son James Lindsay Wright of Marietta, Ga.  She is preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth Belle Bowden and James Wamon Bowden Sr. of Wilton.

Phoebe graduated from Montevallo High School.  Her took her career in accounting to the Atlanta area including Sears, Scientific Games, and Fiserv.  She took pleasure in close relationships with family and co workers who will always remember her ready smile and quick wit.  Phoebe’s other interests were gardening, reading, and jewelry making.

A family gathering will be held to celebrate her fruitful life.
