HOOVER–All three Highway 280 westbound lanes were re-opened at about 5:20 p.m. Monday after flooding that occurred in the area Sunday night caused lane closures Monday morning and afternoon.

Only the westbound turn lane onto Greenhill Parkway remained closed, according to a press release from Capt. Gregg Rector with the Hoover Police Department.

Alabama Department of Transportation trucks were on the scene Monday afternoon trying to help with drainage, the release said.
