Edith Connoradean “Connie” Jones, age 73, of Westover, AL, went to be with her Lord Saturday, Nov. 29. Connie was born June 6, 1941 in Birmingham.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Bolton Funeral Home with Bro. Patrick Hutto, Bro. David Bass, Bro. Aaron Dodson, Bro. Wes Brown, Bro. Jeff Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Gardens. Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Bolton Funeral Home.
She was a faithful member of the Harpersville Church of Christ in Harpersville. She graduated from Jones Valley High School in 1959. She retired from Daniel Corporation in 2006.
Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her son, Ben Jones and her parents, B.F. and Edith Shaw.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bruce Jones; a daughter, Rae Lynn Dodson (Rusty); three grandchildren, Aaron Dodson (Lindsey), Kayla Watts (Jason), Austin Dodson; sisters, Glenda Mason (Butch) and Wanda Lovoy (John), and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
