Cynthia Darlene Emfinger, age 48, of Calera, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9. She was born on Oct. 29, 1966.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Era Jean Blackmon Brasher.
Her survivors include her husband, Kevin Emfinger; sons, Kaleb and Riley Emfinger; father, Bennie Brasher (Flora Lee); sister, Gina Jones (David); brothers, Dale and Eugene Brasher; sister-in-law, Stephanie Sparks (Donald); niece, Jennifer Heath (Drew) and nephews, Michael Crawford, Koulton, Jacob and Bailey Sparks.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Dec. 11 from 6-8 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Friday, Dec. 12 at Salem City Cemetery, Calera, at 1 p.m.
