The following are incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from Dec. 8-14:

 

Dec. 8

–Harassment from 4900 block of Monona Circle, Birmingham (residence/home).

–Miscellaneous incident from U.S. 280 eastbound at Eagle Point Parkway, Birmingham (highway/street).

–Miscellaneous incident from 3300 block of Afton Circle, Birmingham (residence/home). $700 worth of damage was done to a garage door.

–Harassment from 2300 block of U.S. 39, Chelsea (school/college).

–Fraudulent use of a credit/debit card and forgery from 100 block of Nichols Road, Chelsea (residence/home). A food stamp credit card valued at $200 and a checkbook valued at $952 were stolen.

–Criminal mischief and trespassing from U.S. 260, Maylene (commercial).

–Death investigation from 1500 block of CR 39, Chelsea (residence/home).

–Miscellaneous incident from 100 block of Cambrian Way (residence/home).

 

Dec. 9

–Miscellaneous incident/property damage from U.S. 49, Columbiana (highway/street). $200 worth of damage was done to a passenger side mirror of a Jeep Patriot and $50 worth of damage was done to a mailbox.

–Theft of property from U.S. 19 near U.S. 18, Montevallo (highway/street). An Alabama license plate valued at $50 was stolen.

–Unauthorized use of a vehicle from Wild Turkey Lane, Maylene (residence/home).

–Suicide attempt from Griffin Corporate Drive, Chelsea (convenience store).

–Unlawful possession of controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from 100 block of Shine Drive, Pelham (residence/home).

–Theft of property from 2000 block of Beaver Creek Road, Columbiana (residence/home). One center diamond ring, platinum band, center diamond 2.3 karats valued at $35,000 was stolen.

–Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of controlled substance from CR 311 at U.S. 115, Shelby (highway/street). Three glass meth pipes, three plastic bags containing total of three grams of meth, a black digital scale and several bags with meth residue were all confiscated.

–Unlawful possession of marijuana II from 10000 block of U.S. 11, Chelsea (school/college).

–Burglary and theft of property from 4000 block of Westover Road, Sterrett (residence/home). An exterior door frame was damaged and an HP desktop computer valued at $200 was stolen.

–Criminal mischief from 500 block of McGowin Road, Wilsonville (govt/public building). A concession stand/storage three foot main metal entrance door valued at $800 was damaged an $150 worth of damage was done to a portable storage building door.

 

Dec. 10

–Miscellaneous incident from Pope Street at Weldon Street, Wilsonville (highway/street).

–Miscellaneous incident from 900 block of U.S. 70, Columbiana (govt/public building).

–Domestic investigation from 100 block of Retreat Lane, Columbiana (residence/home).

–Driving under the influence of alcohol from U.S. 31 South at I-65, Alabaster (highway/street).

–Miscellaneous incident from Albright Lane at U.S. 231, Vincent (highway/street).

–Harassment from somewhere between OMHS and Hunter’s Apartments on school bus, Birmingham (highway/street).

–Miscellaneous information from 2000 block of Fairbanks Circle, Chelsea (residence/home).

–Driving while under the influence from 5500 block of Heath Row Drive, Birmingham (highway/street).

–Allowing dogs to run at large from 2700 block of U.S. 39, Chelsea (residence/home).

–Miscellaneous incident from 2600 block of Valleydale Road, Birmingham (parking lot/garage).

–Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from 600 block of U.S. 54, Montevallo (residence/home). Two heating elements from Lowes valued at $40 were stolen.

–Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from 600 block of U.S. 54, Montevallo (residence/home). An air powered nail gun valued at $200 was stolen.

–Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from 300 block of Emerald Lane, Chelsea (residence/home). A Lenovo laptop valued at $1,500, an Apple iPad Air valued at $600, prescription sunglasses valued at $300, prescription eyeglasses in a case valued at $300, two older Apple iPods and a Santa Fe Day Spa bag valued at $38 was stolen.

–Theft of property from Franklin Paint and Body, Chelsea (parking lot/garage). A catalytic converter from a Toyota Sienna Van valued at $1,300 was stolen.

–Harassing communications from 2000 block of Preston Lane, Chelsea (other/unknown).

–Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from 200 block of Woodbridge Trail, Chelsea (residence/home). A Garmin GPS valued at $250 and a digital camera valued at $300 was stolen.

–Harassing communications from 1600 block of Narrows Parkway, Birmingham (other/unknown).

 

Dec. 11

–Domestic investigation from 16937 U.S. 280, Chelsea (commercial).

–Theft of property from 1100 block of U.S. 39, Chelsea (residence/home). An Echo backpack leaf blower valued at $300 was stolen.

–Miscellaneous information from 2300 block of U.S. 39, Chelsea (school/college).

–Harassing communications from 200 block of Weldon Street, Wilsonville (restaurant).

–Miscellaneous incident from 3000 block of Charing Wood Lane, Birmingham (residence/home).

–Harassment from 100 block of Calumet Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

–Unauthorized use of a vehicle from Hollybrook Road, Columbiana (residence/home).

–Property damage from 5100 block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham (highway/street). $700 worth of damage was done to a rear windshield.

–Miscellaneous incident/property damage from 3000 block of Buck Horn Cove, Birmingham (parking lot/garage). A 2001 Lexus RX300 SUV was damaged.

–Trespass on a school bus from Sunset Lake Drive and Sunset Lake Circle, Chelsea (highway/street).

–Leaving scene of an accident from U.S. 280 and Meadowbrook Road, Birmingham (highway/street).

–Theft of property from 300 block of Cahaba Park Circle Suite 111, Birmingham (other/unknown). $2,000 of U.S. currency was stolen.

–Theft of property from 300 block of Crosscut Road, Alabaster (residence/home). A Tiger Wood table top valued at $4,000 was stolen.

–Fraudulent use of a credit card from various locations in Shelby County.

–Theft of property and burglary from 200 block of Outback Trail, Sterrett (residence/home). A 1986 Chevrolet C-10 pickup truck valued at $7,000 and assorted tools valued at $500 were stolen.

–Domestic violence/harassment from 1400 block of Liberty Road, Chelsea (residence/home).

–Burglary from Hobbs Lane, Sterrett (residence/home). An LG 32 inch flat screen valued at $350, a Digiland dual core tablet valued at $120, an orange Husqvarna chainsaw valued at $400, two passload nail guns valued at $2,000, two antique swords valued at $2,000, three Mikita skill saws valued at $800 and a sawsall valued at $200 were all stolen.

–Fraudulent use of a credit card from various places in Shelby County.

 

Dec. 12

–Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from 400 block of Shelby Forest Drive, Chelsea (residence/home). A black 9mm Jimenez Arms valued at $250 was stolen.

–Domestic violence/harassment from 200 block of Brook Highland Lane, Birmingham (residence/home).

–Domestic violence/assault from 500 block of Inverness Cliffs (residence/home).

–Identity theft from 7000 block of Kenley Way, Birmingham (other/unknown).

–Domestic violence/harassment from U.S. 26 and U.S. 70, Columbiana (highway/street).

–Harassing communications from 300 block of Vantana Drive, Columbiana (other/unknown).

–Criminal trespass from 1500 block of CR 13, Helena (field/woods).

–Miscellaneous incident from 1000 block of Forest Oaks Drive, Chelsea (highway/street).

–Theft of property from Turtle Point, Shelby (residence/home). A 1995 Tracker Marine Pontoon boat valued at $3,000 was stolen.

–Possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia from 2400 block of 16th Street, Calera (residence/home).

–Possession of marijuana II and possession of drug paraphernalia from 2400 block of 16th Street, Calera (residence/home).

–Fraudulent use of a credit card from Eggler Road, Wilsonville (residence/home).

–Theft of property from 1900 block of Indian Crest Drive (residence/home). $2,200 of U.S. currency was stolen.

–Rape from 2000 block of Eagle Ridge Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

–Death investigation from 600 block of U.S. 56, Wilsonville (residence/home).

–Death investigation from 1000 block of Drayton Way, Birmingham (residence/home).

–Miscellaneous incident from 2900 block of Selkirk Circle, Birmingham (other/unknown).

–Theft of property from 4000 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham (specialty store). A T-Mobile iPhone 5 valued at $250 was stolen.

–Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia from River Road, Helena (highway/street).

–Burglary and theft of property from 100 block of Lybrand Road, Sterrett (residence/home). Fourteen loratabs in a prescription bottle valued at $30, two knives valued at $50 and a multiplyer tool valued at $40 was stolen. $100 worth of damage was done to an exterior door.

–Domestic violence III/harassment from 3900 block of Chesapeake North, Birmingham (residence/home).

–Attempted murder from 3000 block of Ritha Circle, Birmingham (residence/home).

–Theft of property from 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea (supermarket). Four TCL 32 inch Roku television’s valued at $752 and a Vizio 50 inch ultra HD television valued at $898 was stolen.

–Domestic investigation from 3000 block of North Broken Bow Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

–Property damage from U.S. 280 at U.S. 31, Sterrett (highway/street). Two tires on a 2004 Mazda 6 were damaged.
