Oscar Eugene “Gene” Bright, age 69, of Helena, died Wednesday, Jan. 21.
The funeral service will be held at noon Monday, Jan. 26 at Bolton Funeral Home. Burial will be at Alabama National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 25 at Bolton Funeral Home.
Gene, as he was known, loved to coach his sons in little league. He also loved to eat at the Waffle House with his friends.
Mr. Bright is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Ruth Bright; brother, Bill Bright; and sister, Sheila Reynolds.
He is survived by his spouse, Annette Anderson; sons, Darren E. Bright and Stephen P. Bright; brothers, Larry Bright and Randy Bright; and numerous other family and friends.
