William Thomas Massey “Billy”, age 84 of Brierfield, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, Jan. 20 in Alabaster. Mr. Massey was a lifelong resident of Alabaster.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Bird Massey.
He is survived by his children Lynda Bowlin, Ken Massey and Fran, Jim Bowlin and Layne, and Christy Henault and Martin; grandchildren, Chelsia Massey, and Matthew Massey and Helen; great-grandchildren, Anthony Bowlin and Tiffany, Summer Bowlin and Mick, and Andrew Henault and Sebastien Henault; great great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ella, and Isaac Massey; and great great-great–grandchild, Maverick Bowlin.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 24 at the First Presbyterian Church of Alabaster, Highway 119 from 1-2 p.m. Billy’s funeral service will follow in the church at 2 p.m. Billy Massey chose Life, he chose Jesus! Burial will be in the Still Memorial Cemetery.
