The new spring session of “Weight Watchers at Work” that meets at Elvin Hill Elementary School library every Wednesday – weigh-in at 3:30 p.m. and meeting at 4 p.m. – will start Feb. 4.

Registration begins at 3:30 p.m., and the meeting starts at 4 p.m. Cost depends on the size of group: $186 for 17 weeks, 20 people minimum or $156 for 12 weeks, 15 people minimum, both with E-Tools.

Payment is due at registration in one or three payments, cash, check or visa.

U.S. News and World Report has voted Weight Watchers No. 1 Best Weight Loss Plan four years in a row.

WW teacher Vera Rosenow lost 35 pounds over 38 years ago.

“WW works because we learn to eat real food,” said Rosenow. “I love the fact that there isn’t anything I can’t have on WW. You are taught portion control and how to handle your emotions so you don’t turn to food.”

“I joined WW a little over a year ago because being overweight was causing me knee and back pain,” said Kathy Corbitt. “The program has helped me succeed in loosing enough weight to notice significant improvements in my knees and back. As an added benefit, I look forward to Wednesday afternoons. It really has become a support group as well as a time of fellowship with some wonderful folks.”

“The meetings and group support are key to me,” said Linda Wren, who has lost 34 pounds. “I also love E-Tools and the flexibility of the program.”

“The accountability factor works best for me,” said Ceil Ebert, who is two pounds from her lifetime goal. “I tried to do this on my own. I would fudge and had no one to be accountable to. I also get ideas from other members and they keep me motivated.”

“Weight Watchers is easy to follow,” said Diane Gannon, who has lost 27 pounds. “I like the flexibility that I can go out to eat.”

“I have lost 20 pounds since last August,” said Diane McMillian. “The group support and encouragement make the difference to me.”
