COLUMBIANA – Chelsea and a variety of its businesses were the focus of the South Shelby Chamber of Commerce membership luncheon Feb. 5 at Columbiana First United Methodist Church.

Representatives from Chubb’s Grub Station, Summit Pediatrics and other businesses located in Chelsea were on hand to distribute information and free promotional items to more than 50 people at the luncheon.

Chelsea Mayor Earl Niven gave the invocation and invited anyone seeking a well-rounded, family-oriented community for their business to consider Chelsea.

“If you have a business you want to open in Chelsea, we have a place for you,” Niven said.

Lisa Phillips, owner of SimpleWorks, spoke about organization as it relates to today’s technology and different ways people can simplify their lives to suit their individual preferences.

“Whenever you are thinking about being productive or organized, it is your definition,” Phillips said. “When we have 24 hours in a day, we have to make the most of it.”

Stone Hollow Farmstead in Harpersville catered the luncheon.
