Robyn Webb Boyd, age 51, of Alabaster, died February 19, 2015 at UAB Hospital, Palliative and Comfort Care after a five year battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 16, 1963 in Grove Hill. Robyn was a retired Director of Student Life at the University of Montevallo. She enjoyed Alabama football, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family. She just enjoyed life.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Bennett “Ben” Boyd of Alabaster; son, William Lee “Will” Boyd of Alabaster; mother, Billie H. Fore and step-father, Robert Fore of Grove Hill; two sisters, Leanne (Danny) Gates of Thomasville, and Jill (Lewis) Walker of Grove Hill; two step-sisters, Carly (Michael) Dunagan and Missy (Nevelle) Hinson; two aunts, Barbara Hough and Thelma Clyde Webb; cousin, Wendy Hough McClure; four nieces and eight nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Reynold Lee Webb; grandparents, Willie Ray and Janie Belle Harrell, Reginald N. and Julia Webb; and nephew, Tanner Blaine Walker.
Funeral services were held at Livingston First Baptist Church on Sunday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Carl Sudduth and Rev. Bill Faircloth officiating. Burial was in the Boyd Cemetery in Boyd.
Pallbearers were Austin Gates, Brandon Walker, Steven Friday, Wade Robison, Allen Robison, Mark Richardson, John Denson and Luther Gremmels.
