Linda Godbey, age 69, of Columbiana, died Friday, March 13. Mrs. Godbey achieved 30+ years of dedicated service to Police, Fire, and Rescue starting at Lipscomb and ending in Columbiana.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 17 at Bolton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Shannon. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m., Tuesday, March 17 at Bolton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Godbey is survived by three children, Joyce Godbey Carlee, Paula Godbey, and Kim Godbey; three grandchildren, Lindsay Godbey, Ashley Burchfield (Pat), and Allison Carlee; one great grandchild, Carlee Reese Burchfield; two sisters, Barbara Lipsey (Bob) and Denise Owens (Steve); and numerous nieces and nephews.
