Floyd Smitherman of Route 1, Randolph, passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, March 29.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Horace Smitherman and Saduthria Posey Smitherman; three brothers, Curtis, Grover, and Grady Smitherman; and one daughter, Donna Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lois Brown Smitherman; his children, Linda Shirley (Butch), Grace Pope (Sam), Vicki Fox, Jeff Smitherman (Rhonda) and Ricky Smith; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at The Church at Brierfield, Highway 139, Brierfield, Sunday, April 12, at 3 p.m.
