Frank P. Chesser, Jr., age 93, of Chelsea, died Saturday, April 11.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 14 at Liberty Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Cox and Rev. Wayne Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, April 14, at Liberty Baptist Church. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.
Frank Chesser actively served as a deacon for 51 years. He served as a Trustee of Liberty Baptist Church. He was a Navy Veteran serving during WWII, having been stationed in Hawaii.
Mr. Chesser is survived by his wife, Ester Lee Chesser; daughter, June Marie Niven (S. Earl); son, Daniel Pierce Chesser (Lisa); grandchildren, S. Earl Niven, Jr. (Gay), Chesley Brandon Niven (Amanda), Darryl Chesser (Amanda), Tyler Chesser, and Heath Chesser; great grandchildren, Ashleigh Donaldson (Shawn), Caroline Hairston (Austin), Denise Niven, and Samuel E. Niven, III; great great grandchildren, Chesley Hairston and Logan Donaldson; and by marriage, great grandchildren, Parker Barnes and Kelli Barnes; and numerous other family and friends.
