The first Boots and Buckles Gala benefiting BBBS of Shelby County will take place at the Pelham Civic Complex from 6:30-10 p.m.

The cost to attend the adults-only event is $100 per person.

“All of the money is going to stay in Shelby County,” PR and Marketing Director Brooke McKinley said. “It will help make matches for children who are waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister in Shelby County.”

McKinley said $50,000 is the organization’s fundraising goal for Boots and Buckles this year.

The attire is “cocktail, but with your boots and your buckles,” McKinley said.

SouthWest Water Company is the presenting sponsor for this year’s event.

Treymane will provide live music, and dinner will be catered by Yellow Bicycle Company.

Individual tickets include dinner, drinks and dancing.

Sponsorship opportunities are available to local businesses at Bbbsbhm.org/boots.
