Oliver C. Ray, of Pelham, passed away Wednesday, April 15, at his home. He was born Feb. 3, 1931.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Imogene Martin Ray.  He is survived by four children, Janice Gibbons (George), Joyce Greer, Danny Ray (Robin) and Jeff Ray; brother-in-law, Billy Martin (Debbie), sister-in-law, Edna Martin, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
O.C. was a lifelong member of Pelham Church of God. He worked 42 years at Interstate Brand Bakery and was the Volunteer Fire Chief for the City of Pelham from 1972-1977.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 16 at Pelham Church of God. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 17 at Pelham Church of God with the burial following at Pelham City Cemetery. Charter Funeral Home directing.
