The roadway at Alabama 25 and 305 near the Summerhill community has been re-opened as of 2:45 p.m. on April 15 following a fatal single-vehicle wreck.

The road was closed at about 12:15 p.m. for several hours after the wreck as first responders worked to clear the roadway, according to a Shelby County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Motorists are encouraged to proceed cautiously through the area as law enforcement may remain in the area to continue their investigation of the wreck.
