HELENA–Saturday, April 11, was a busy time for the city limits of Helena. Helena residents enjoyed many events around town, and one of those was a birthday party at Helena’s newest store called Party Art located in Old Town Helena.

Party Art is located inside of Oh My Sole and offers custom paint parties for children and adults, custom door hangers and more.

Emily Woodall was celebrating her 11^th birthday party with friends by painting custom owls with their initials on the porch at Party Art for a fun and crafty birthday party.

Party Art Owner Abbey Thompson organizes the parties and described the different things the store offers.

“We offer adult and children paint parties where they can come and have private parties,” said Thompson. “We also host parties for small groups, girls night out, business parties and another great thing we’re going to start doing is bridal showers.”

Thompson also made it clear that no craftiness skills are required for anyone wanting to paint, and Thompson goes through the process step by step.

A grand opening and ribbon cutting will be held May 1 for the store, and Thompson shared some of her favorite things about being located in Old Town Helena.

“It’s such a quaint town and it’s family oriented and I love the way it looks,” said Thompson. “The blessing of this building is that we have the new porch and we can offer parties on beautiful days, and we also have the studio inside.”

Thompson also said it’s important that people check Party Art’s Facebook page because a calendar is located there showing the available weekly parties that people can book.

Children’s parties typically last an hour or a little longer and adult parties normally last two hours.
