Lonnie Cummings, age 65, of Pelham, died Tuesday, May 5.
Lonnie was predeceased by his parents, Jimmy and Myrtle Cummings; nephews, Casey Lee Cumberland and William Cameron “Cam” Cumberland.
Lonnie was employeed by the City of Pelham for 19 years.
He is survived by his sisters, Martha Stafford, Jennie Cumberland (Eddie) and Sandy Key (Tony); nieces, Ashley Weathers and Brooklyn Brewer; nephews, Caiden Cumberland, Kyle Cumberland, Tony Key (Jenny) and Aaron Stafford (Joy); great nieces, Judy Voynalsky and Josie Key; great nephews, Jake Voytnalsky and Jackson Key; uncle, Tommy Crumley and a host of other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m., Friday, May 8 with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Both services will be at Charter Funeral Home. A committal service will be at Pelham City Cemetery. Brother Mike Shaw is officiating. Charter Funeral Home directing.
