Jerry Leonard Castleberry, age 69, of Wilsonville, died Wednesday, May 13.
The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 17 at Pinelawn Gardens with Rev. Terry Albhley and Rev. Bolis Morris officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, May 16 at Bolton Funeral Home.
Jerry worked at Avondale Mills for 15 years. He was owner of Castleberry Trucking Company for five years in Wilsonville. He played gospel music for over 40 years and witnessed in songs throughout Alabama, George and Mississippi.
Mr. Castleberry is preceded in death by his parents, James Leonard and Eunice Mae Castleberry of Pell City and a brother, Timothy “Tim” Castleberry of Pell City.
He is survived by his wife, Lanace Blackerby Wallace Castleberry of Wilsonville; sons, Leonard “Lenny” Castleberry of Wilsonville, Craig Wallace (stepson); grandchildren, Matthew and Alana Wallace of Argo; sisters, Betty Kelly of Odenville, Joyce Woods of Pell City; brothers, Billy (Linda), Bobby (Linda), Danny (Sherry),  Larry (Penny), Charlie (Lucille), Ronnie (Carly), Rickey (Franie), Carl, Terrell (Amanda), Earl (Bessie) all of Pell City; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
