The Shelby County Schools Child Nutrition Program will sponsor a summer feeding program at the following sites this summer:
•Calera Intermediate, June 1–July 24
•Elvin Hill Elementary, June 1–26
•Montevallo Elementary, June 1–July 24
•Vincent Elementary, June 1–July 24
Breakfast will be served from 7:30–8 a.m. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m.–12 p.m.
The program will serve free breakfast and lunch meals to children below the age of 18, regardless of their normal meal eligibility status during the school year.
Adults over the age of 19 can also participate in the Summer Feeding Program, but will have to pay the normal meal prices of $2 for breakfast and $4 for lunch.
