F. B. “Junior” Scurlock

F. B. “Junior” Scurlock, age 80, of Montevallo, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 30.
Junior retired from the City of Montevallo and was a member of Montevallo First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lavenia Winslett Scurlock; children, Lynn Ingram (Joe) of Pea Ridge and Phillip Scurlock (Billie) of Verbena; grandchildren, Jason Ingram (Wendy), Terri O’Dazier (Brandon), Matthew Ingram (Brittany), Denise Smith (James) and Jamie Scurlock (Kyle); great-grandchildren, Bailey O’Dazier, Calem O’Dazier, Miley O’Dazier, Brianna Smith and Bailee Smith; sisters, Fay Owens (Robert) of Midfield, Etta Perry of Centreville, Ann Majors (Junior) of Woodstock and Audrey Kornegay (Lonzia) of Vance; step-daughter, Connie Wester (Jerry) of Trussville; step-grandchildren, Kurt Wester (Becky) and Heath Wester (Misha); and step-great-grandchildren, Emily Harris, Logan Startley, Brooks Wester and Bryant Wester.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 4 at 11 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with visitation to begin at 10 a.m. Dr. Terry Sutton will officiate and burial will follow at Montevallo City Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at Rockcofuneralmontevallo.com.
