Austin Hughes, age 83, of Columbiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 2.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 4 at Bolton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Summerhill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 3 at Bolton Funeral Home.
Aut was a very caring, giving, kind-hearted, hardworking man who loved his wife, children and grandchildren unconditionally. He was loved by all of his family and friends and will be truly missed. He was surrounded by his family as he was received in to the loving arms of Jesus. We love you Daddy, see you in Heaven soon.
Mr. Hughes is preceded in death by his sons, Freddy Hughes, Terry Austin Hughes and a grandson, Tony Kellum. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Hughes; daughters, Deborah Dawson (Isom), Anna Hughes; son, Donnie Hughes (Debra); grandsons, Blake Hughes, Tommy Bryant, Chris Dawson; granddaughters, Cherity Hughes, Nikki Bunn, Summer Hughes, Jennifer Kellum, Lacey Skipper, Riley Smith; great grandchildren, Autum, Caitlin, Brooklyn, Caroline, Catherine, Austin, Andrew, Aubrey, Hannah, Dekota, Carly, Ashley and Raven; and many other family and friends.
