Wayne Barnett, born July 12, 1953, went to be with Jesus at his home in Brierfield on Monday, June 8. Wayne was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed.
Wayne is survived by his  wife, Linda ”Toni” Barnett; sons, Shane Barnett (Angie) and  Chris Barnett (Christin); step-son, Jason Pearson and step-daughter, Mary Hunton (Ross); grandchildren, Kayla Barnett, Daniel Barnett, Dylan Bates, Skylar Slaughter, Jacob Crabtree, Kylie Chestnut, Kaitlynn Chestnut and Michell Page; sister Cindi Wells (Thomas); and many other family members and many friends.
Visitation was held Wednesday, June 10 from 6-8 p.m. Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 11 at 1 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home, with a visitation from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. prior to the services.
