Two charged with trafficking meth

PELHAM—Two Warrior residents were arrested on June 11 on charges of felony methamphetamine trafficking near 715 Cahaba Valley Road.

The Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force apprehended 31-year-old Damon Miles Gooch and 43-year-old Vickie Jean Victoriana, allegedly finding 43.5 grams of meth in their possession.

Gooch was charged with a felony in trafficking meth, and is being held in the Shelby County Jail on bond of $100,000. Victoriana was charged with one count of conspiracy of trafficking a controlled substance and one felony count of trafficking meth. She is being held in the Shelby County Jail on a $500,000 bond.

According to Alabama state law, trafficking methamphetamines is a Class A felony offense. If convicted, the suspects could spend up to life in prison.
