PELHAM—As a part of its Giving Back Program, Bath Fitter Birmingham gives away a free quarterly remodel to someone in need. It’ll be installing its current quarterly project July 10, and is seeking applicants for its Sept. 29 giveaway.

“The biggest thing to bath center is that our area shows us a lot of love,” said event manager Trina Stogner. “It’s just important to us that we give back. You go home at night and think about your own blessings, and this allows us to share the blessing.”

Bath Fitter Birmingham, located at 252 Cahaba Valley Parkway, is accepting submissions for its next quarter, and will announce that winner Sept. 29. To apply, Stogner said people should submit a 150 word write up explaining why they need the remodel, their person needs and what they would hope for in a remodel to givingback@bathfitter.com. You can also include up to two pictures of your tub and shower.

Designated Bath Fitter staff will select the top three submissions for a face-to-face interview. This contest is open only to residents of Shelby and Jefferson counties and addresses will be verified prior to selection.

On the day of the remodel, the entire Bath Fitter Birmingham team will help with the installation, including the sales representatives and the office manager. Stogner said the experience brings the company together as a family.

Bath Fitter was founded in 1984, specializing in covering bathtubs with acrylic mold and remodeling. Now, the business does anything bath and shower related as well as conversions.

Most installations only take one day, and Bath Fitter provides free in-home consultations. A couple weeks after the consultation, Bath Fitter’s warehouse in Nashville, Tenn., has the custom mold ready.

“Bath Fitter offers a simple and affordable bathtub to shower conversion solution and if we can help local families and veterans in our community make it happen, then Bath Fitter will do all it can to support these community members,” said branch manager Jimmy Pierce.
