The following are incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from May 2-June 22

 

May 2

-Burglary from the 0 block of New Shelby Peninsula, Shelby (residence/home). Damaged was the doorframe of a mobile home in the amount of $500. Stolen were two LG televisions valued at $800.

 

June 13

-Damage to property from the 800 block of Eagle Point Drive, Birmingham (parking lot/garage). Damaged was a 2007 Acura TRX.

 

June 14

-Theft of property/shoplifting from the 16000 block of Highway 280, Chelsea (supermarket). Stolen were three bottles of S. Home Wine, SH PG 107, chicken salad, creamed chicken and an 18-count mini all totaling $34.12.

 

June 15

-Miscellaneous information from the 200 block of Lilly Drive, Sterrett (residence/home).

-Domestic investigation from the 0 block of Southwood Way, Alabaster (residence/home).

-Theft of property from the 300 block of Whispering Pines Lane, Helena (storage facility). Stolen was an adult-sized, brown, handcrafted horse saddle valued at $1000.

-Domestic investigation from the 3400 block of Buckhorn Cove (parking lot/garage).

 

June 16

-Civil dispute from the 100 block of August Road, Columbiana (residence/home).

-Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Hummingbird Close, Montevallo (residence/home).

-Death investigation from the 3200 block of Altadena Rise, Birmingham (residence/home).

 

June 17

-Missing person from the 4900 block of Meadowbrook Road, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Harassment from the 4800 block of Keith Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Public intoxication from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana (government/public building).

-Assault from Hawk’s Cove, Shelby (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous incident from the 5300 block of South Broken Bow Drive, Birmingham (residence/home). Recovered was a Staples yellow paper notepad.

-Property damage from the 5000 block of Applecross Road, Birmingham (highway/street). Damaged was the front windshield of a 2009 Buick Lucerne XL in the amount of $1000.

-Harassing communications from the 5000 block of Applecross Road, Birmingham (highway/street).

-Identity theft from the 1000 block of Hermitage Circle, Birmingham (residence/home). Stolen was $1472 in assorted US currency.

-Identity theft from Stoneridge Trail, Columbiana (residence/home).

-Identity theft from Gould Road, Columbiana (residence/home).

-Fire investigation from the 700 block of Reach Crest, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Death investigation from the 300 block of Rock School Road, Harpersville (residence/home).
-Attempted suicide from the 100 block of Clover Lane, Montevallo (residence/home). Confiscated was a syringe.

-Burglary from the 12000 block of Highway 43, Vandiver (residence/home). Stolen were a Ted Williams bolt action 12-gauge shotgun valued at $200, a Merlin .22 caliber bolt action rifle valued at $200 and a Century 110 wire welder valued at $125. Damaged were the front trailer door and siding in the amount of $200.

-Fraudulent use of a credit/debit card from the 4300 block of Morningside Drive (residence/home). Stolen was a EBT food stamp card valued at $101.

-Death investigation from the 100 block of Chestnut Lane, Helena (residence/home).

 

June 18

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the Stonecrest Apartments (parking lot/garage). Stolen were two debit cards, a credit card, a Honeybaked ham gift card valued at $50, a work issued Blackberry phone and a hygiene kit with items.

-Receiving stolen property from the 4600 block of US 280. Recovered was a 1999 GMC Sierra valued at $9000.

-Miscellaneous information from the 5500 block of Highway 280, Birmingham (drug store).

-Theft of property from the 6100 block of Eagle Point Circle, Birmingham (residence/home). Stolen was an Aivza 27-inch flat screen TV valued at $250.

-Public intoxication from I-65 North.

-Domestic investigation from the 4800 block of Keith Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Domestic investigation from the 0 block of Greenhill Parkway, Birmingham (hotel/motel).

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and theft of property from River Birch Road, Chelsea (parking lot/garage). Stolen were two cash deposits valued at $60 and a bank check valued at $40.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 500 block of Cahaba Park Circle (parking lot/garage). Stolen were a Taurus 9mm valued at $500, a black nylon holster valued at $20 and a loaded Taurus magazine valued at $50.

-Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from Highway 280 and Highway 25, Harpersville (highway/street). Confiscated was a white marijuana pipe.

-Burglary and criminal mischief from the 300 block of Willow Leaf Circle, Wilsonville (residence/home). Damaged was an exterior door and frame.

-Death investigation from the 100 block of Alexander Road, Leeds (residence/home).

-Burglary from the 0 block of April Lane, Westover (residence/home). Damaged was the rear French door in the amount of $500.

-Missing person from the 100 block of Chesser Lane, Chelsea (residence/home).

-Death investigation from the 300 block of Phillips Road, Montevallo (residence/home).

-Permitting dogs to run at large from the 6400 block of Highway 25, Montevallo (residence/home).

-Allowing dogs to run at large from the 230 block of Highway 145, Columbiana (residence/home). Damaged were 7 Red Star Hens in the amount of $350.

-Miscellaneous incident (suicide attempt) from the 25000 block of Highway 71, Shelby (residence/home).

-Burglary and theft from the 2900 block of Highway 17, Montevallo (residence/home). Stolen were a 50+ inch flat screen TV valued at $1000+ and a tattoo gun kit valued at $100.

 

June 19

-Theft from the 5300 block of Highway 280, Birmingham (service/gas station). Stolen was a blue 2002 Pontiac Sunfire.

-Property damage from Highway 70 at Phillips Circle, Columbiana (highway/street). Damaged was a black 2009 Dodge Charger.

-Permitting dogs to run at large from the 300 block of Leaf Drive, Harpersville (residence/home).

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Solomon Drive, Wilsonville (residence/home). Stolen was a Straight Talk ZTE Majesty cell phone valued at $40.

-Miscellaneous information from the 100 block of Phillips Circle, Columbiana (residence/home).

-Theft of intellectual property from the 3000 block of Ritha Circle, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Identity theft from the 1000 block of Springfield Drive, Chelsea (residence/home). Stolen was $249.88 from a checking account.

-Theft of property from the Forest Lakes Lane, Sterrett (residence/home). Stolen was an iPhone 5S valued at $600 and 14 Tramadol pills.

-Domestic investigation-harassment from the 2400 block of Lullwater Road, Birmingham (parking lot/garage).

-Domestic violence-harassing communications from the 1200 block of Retreat Lane, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Identity theft from the 4100 block of Eagle Crest Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Theft of property from the 500 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham (parking lot/garage). Stolen was a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle valued at $3500.

-Domestic violence-harassing communications from Beulah Lane, Sterrett (residence/home).

 

June 20

-Theft of property from the 24000 block of Highway 25, Columbiana (residence/home). Stolen were 70 10mg Loritab.

-Domestic incident from Springfield Drive, Chelsea (residence/home).

-Duty upon striking unattended vehicle from the 100 block of Olmstead Street, Birmingham (church). Damaged was the driver’s door of a 2013 Hyundai Sonata.

-Property damage from the 9000 block of County Road 280, Chelsea. Damaged was a multi-bundle of Charter cable wires.

-Driving under the influence at Chesser Plantation and Chesser Park Drive, Chelsea (highway/street).

-Theft of property from the 2000 block of Blue Springs Road, Wilsonville (highway/street). Stolen was a mailbox valued at $50.

-Property damage from the 0 block of Same Place, Shelby (residence/home). Damaged was 80 feet of barbwire fence.

-Assault from the 300 block of Speedway Drive, Wilsonville (other/unknown).
-Miscellaneous information from the 200 block of Hawthorne Street, Birmingham.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and theft of property from the 4600 block of US 280, Birmingham (parking lot/garage). Stolen was a white Patagonia tote bag valued at $100, three books valued at $100, a silver MacBook Pro valued at $1000 and a white and pink computer case valued at $100.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 300 block of Shelby Forest Drive, Chelsea (residence/home). Stolen was a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield .40 caliber handgun.

 

June 21

-Assault from the 3400 block of Heatherbrook Road, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Domestic investigation from the 3900 block of County Road 47, Columbiana (highway/street).

-Fire investigation from the 19000 block of Highway 25, Columbiana (highway/street). Damaged was a silver 2002 Dodge Ram.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 300 block of Lloyd’s Lane, Shelby (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous incident from the 300 block of Chateau Way, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Civil dispute from the 4000 block of Highway 280, Birmingham.
