HELENA–The Helena High School Band Boosters are hosting the second annual Glow Run, Walk or Crawl 5K to benefit the HHS Band and organizers of the event are currently looking for sponsors and runners interested in participating.

The Glow Run, Walk or Crawl 5K will be on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. at Helena High School.

The cost for a sponsorship ranges from $100 to $200 and sponsors will have a space on the back of the race t shirt reserved for them.

Jennifer Kunath-Bowling is in charge of marketing for the race and said they are expecting approximately 400 runners from all over to attend the race and the Trak Shak in Homewood has placed the event on their race calendar.

Those wishing to register for the race or buy a sponsorship can do so online at Helenahighband.com and then click on the Glow Run, Walk or Crawl 5K logo.

Those who register online before Aug. 21 will save $10 and a group of four or more adults can register as a team and save $5.

All race participants will also receive a t shirt.
