The Columbiana Public Library is pleased to announce in recognition of great community support, student participation and continual parental interest the end of summer reading program celebrations.

As executive director of the Columbiana Public Library, I wish to invite people of all ages to come enjoy the free pizza, movies and prizes available only during the end of the summer reading programs two-day grand finale celebration.

How can you get in on this outstanding opportunity to have fun and win an iPad mini from your local library all at the same time?

Just come to the Columbiana Public Library, sign up and read with us. Each book read during the contest entitles the participant to be entered to win an iPad mini and other prizes.

Two wonderful family friendly events will begin on Tuesday, July 14 at 5 p.m. with a whole evening focused on rising middle school readers.

However, not to be outdone, on Thursday, July 16 at 5 p.m., an evening focusing this time on the high school summer reading program will also be held.

Both reading celebration programs will feature door prizes, such as ice cream gift certificates from 32 Below, iTunes gift cards and more.

The feature movie presentation during the middle school celebration will be Mall Cop II (Vegas has a new High Roller), with X-Men Days of Future Past during the high school event on Thursday.

During both evenings, Sanpeggios Pizza, drinks and free popcorn will be provided.

Additionally, there will be guest appearances from the mayor of Columbiana, the honorable Stancil Handley; members of the city council; and Friends of the Columbiana Public Library.

So mark your calendars and come join in on the fun.

Reminder: All participants in the summer reading program may win the iPad mini, as you do not have to present at the drawing to win.

However, all other prizes are to be awarded to those in attendance.
