FROM STAFF REPORTS PELHAM— Pelham City Schools is reaching out to all current and former Pelham school students and parents of all ages to show appreciation for its teachers. A post on its Facebook page announced a need for videos and photos to be used in a short video.

“We’re putting together a short video to show our teachers how all of their hard work and dedication impacts our students and our community,” the post read. “We want to do something a little different and we need your help!”

Participants were asked to take a picture or video of themselves and then answer one or two of the questions provided, such as “What makes a teacher great?” “What do you like most about your favorite teacher?” or “Why are good teachers important?”

Videos should be no longer than 10 seconds. The post suggests being creative in the submitted photos, such as featuring a sign in the photo to answer one of the questions. Teachers shouldn’t be named specifically, according to the post, because they are looking for general answers.

“And, let’s keep it classy. Please don’t send anything inappropriate,” the post read. “We need lots of submissions, so please tell your friends!”

Group photos and videos will be accepted. Photos and videos can be submitted to Communications@pelhamcityschools.org by Monday, Aug. 3. Submissions must include your name, school and grade.
