Robert Howard “Bob” Lee, age 82, of Alabaster, died Sunday, Aug. 9.
He graduated from Thompson High School, served in the US Navy and worked for Connors Steel/SMI Steel.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Howard Lee; mother, Lucile Green Lee; and brother, James Lynn Lee.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Howard Lee; daughters, Lisa Lee Burke (Scottie) of Alabaster and Kelly Lee Whitman (Harper) of Pelham; sons, Steven Harwell Lee (Sharon) of Wilsonville and Kevin Howard Lee (Paige) of Montevallo; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Sara Jane Allen of Alabaster.
There will be a visitation for Mr. Howard on Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 10–11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Alabaster. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in the adjacent cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Alabaster.
