HELENA–A new family-friendly Italian restaurant will soon be coming to Helena.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Aug. 20, Helena Mayor Mark Hall confirmed that a new restaurant would soon occupy the long-time vacant building where Backyard Burgers used to be.

“The owners have officially notified us that renovations are about to get underway for a new Italian, family-friendly, dine in and carry out restaurant franchise to be located there,” read the post.

The new restaurant plans to have pizza, sandwiches and other Italian dishes. The restaurant will seat approximately 60 people and they will have a pick up window for call in orders.

The owners plan to announce the name of the restaurant with all of the details in an official press release in the coming weeks, according to the post.

“They tell me that the franchise is one of the fastest growing chains in the country, and will be the first location in this part of North Shelby County,” Hall wrote in the post.
