VESTAVIA HILLS – In the final tune up before the regular season gets underway for the Briarwood Lions, they traveled to Vestavia Hills for a preseason jamboree against the host Rebels. On a wet night, the Lions were unable to get any offense going, as Vestavia won 14-0. Stats were unavailable from the game.

Briarwood starts regular season play on Aug. 28 with a game against Chelsea at home.
