ALABASTER – The Alabaster Board of Education has scheduled a pair of budget hearings for the next few weeks, during which it will review items to be included in the school system’s 2016 fiscal year budget.

The first budget hearing will be at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at the ACS central office on the second floor of Alabaster City Hall at 1953 Municipal Way.

The second hearing will be at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, also at the ACS central office.

During the hearings, School Board members and ACS employees will review items and funding amounts for school system items for the upcoming fiscal year.

Both hearings are open to the public.
