Amy Brooks Trosper, age 44, of Alabaster, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 28. Her life was too short but full of joy.
Eighteen years ago she married Doug Trosper and they were blessed with four beautiful daughters, Chloe, Lucy, Sophie, and Millie. In addition, she leaves behind her much loved extended family, her mother, Kathleen Brooks Arndt; sisters, Robin Farrell (Robert) and Virginia Parnell (Wayne); brothers, Anthony Brooks (Lynn) and Timothy Brooks (Leila); stepfather, Raymond Arndt; mother-in-law, Judy Trosper; sister-in-law, Jill Gaunt (Matthew); brother-in-law, Gregg Trosper (Tiffany); and numerous nieces and nephews whom she treasured. Amy’s school and church family were an integral part of her life, and also loved her and will miss her.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 at the church, lunch to follow. Father Ray Dunmyer is officiating.
