HELENA–Residents in the Helena area were happy to hear about a popular restaurant chain coming to Helena and many showed up for Marco’s Pizza grand opening on Thursday, Nov. 19.
Marco’s Pizza opened in the former Backyard Burgers building located off Shelby County 17 and those who attended the grand opening were very satisfied with the quality of food and service Marco’s offered.
“Our food was very good and I think this just takes Helena to the next level,” said Helena resident Jay Modi, who was enjoying dinner with his family.
Marco’s Pizza offers a variety of pizza choices, sandwiches, wings, salads, desserts and more.
Shannon Jacobs and his family are also Helena residents and he said he also had a positive experience at the restaurant’s grand opening.
“It was great and I’m happy that we have another option in the Helena area,” said Jacobs. “We had great service and our pizza we got was a little different but very good.”
In 2013 Marco’s Pizza added 109 new stores and as of March 2014, has over 500 stores in 35 states, doubling in size over the last five years, according to the website.
The Marco’s Helena location will be open Monday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
“We offer delivery, carryout, call ahead, online ordering and 56 seats will be available for dining in,” said Franchise Owner Rick Poston.
