Memorial service for Barbara Jean Skalka, age 73, will be Saturday, Jan. 16 at 6 p.m. from the chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Skalka passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Heidi Skalka; granddaughter, Sydney Dane Sellers; and son-in-law, Steven Fenwick.

She is survived by husband, Harold Skalka; three daughters, Jennifer Ann (Ronnie) Sellers, Gretchen Paige (Stephen Pounds) Skalka, and Kirsten Faith Fenwick; grandson, Austin Gage Fenwick; brother, Frank Herbert; and sister, Carol Urgola.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Barbara’s name to the charity of your choice.
