Roger and Suzanne Nichols of Hartselle are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Deborah Faith Nichols, to Cody Montgomery Bennett, son of Craig and Anita Bennett of Montevallo.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Anne Dodge of Auburn and Ted and LuVerne Dodge of Mobile and the late Neil Grady Nichols and Geneva Nichols of Northport.

She is a 2009 graduate of Hartselle High School and a graduate of the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

She is the creative director and productions coordinator with Fast Signs of Birmingham. She also operates her own freelance graphic design business, “Deborah Faith Designs,” and is a volunteer missionary with e3 Partners Ministry.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Robert Earl Brantley and Hildegard Brantley of Montevallo, and Gloria Bennett and the late Bruce Montgomery Bennett of Denham Springs, La.

He is a 2010 graduate of Montevallo High School and is currently attending the University of Montevallo.

He is set to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Pathology.

He is an alumnus of Alpha Kappa Lambda Fraternity, a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, a member of the Montevallo Communications Science and Disorders Alpha Sigma Pi Honor Society, a member of Best Buddies, a volunteer at Aaron’s Staff RESPITE Care Ministries, a tutor for Student Support Services’ ASPIRE Program at the University of Montevallo, a third-year pit-chorus member of College Night and a former Montevallo Master.

The wedding is set for June 18, 2016, at 6 p.m. at the University of Montevallo.
