Waiting on the train. A rare 1940s view of the rear of Helena's Main Street stores can be observed in this photograph taken during a Pitts family reunion. The crowd was milling around the front yard of C.T. Davidson's home. After C.T.'s death, his son, Joseph Squire Davidson, took up residence in the home place with his wife, Emmie Pitts Davidson.
