Edna Earl “Dinky” Bean, age 91, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, April 5.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother and dedicated caregiver to friends and family.

Edna was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, William “Bill” “Butterbean” Frank Bean.

Her survivors include her son, William Earl Bean (Rhonda); daughters, Vonda Bean Schrader (Bobby) and Patricia Boykin Cox; grandchildren, William Eric Bean (Shelina), Jason Earl Bean (Dana), Paige Schrader Seale (Michael) and Bo Boykin (Rachel); great grandchildren, William Colt Bean, Eric Ruger Bean, Paisley Barrow and Alyssa Seale; and a host of nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family service at a later date.

Dinky will be missed by her family and friends.
