COLUMBIANA – A collision involving two 18-wheelers on the morning of April 19 led to minor injuries and temporary road closures.

The crash happened at about 9 a.m. on Alabama 25 at Gibson Road in Summer Hill.

Shelby County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene, which was cleared in less than an hour.

As of about 9:45 a.m. April 19, the roadway was re-opened to motorists.
