James O. “J.O.” Littleton, age 88, of Calera, went to be with Jesus, Thursday, April 28.

He was predeceased by his wife, Frances Littleton, and siblings, Onzelle Avery (Robert), Owen Littleton (MaryAnn), Ocie Littleton (Odis), Orell Hilyer, Obie Littleton and Oneil Littleton (Jane).

J.O.’s survivors include his daughter, Tina Snipes; son, Jerry H. Littleton (Debbie); siblings, Olean Bratton (Richard), Olysneil Horton, Orville Littleton (Leah), and Ormajean Mims; daughter-in-law, Joy Littleton; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.

The visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, May 2 at Charter Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at noon, Tuesday, May 3 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shelby Memory Gardens.
