William Larry Davis, age 72, of Shelby, died Monday, May 2.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 5 at Croft-Acton Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, O.B. and Louis Caldwell Davis, and a sister, Lavada Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Davis; daughters, Shea Callahan and Kim Kennedy; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Jessica Davis; and numerous other family and friends.
