Mary Elizabeth Thompson, age 78, of Helena, died Wednesday, May 25.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 28 at Open Door Independent Church with Pastor Shirley Hosmer and Pastor Terry Hosmer officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 27 at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thompson is preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Thompson, Jr.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her children, Vickie (Phillip) Benton, Rickey (Martha) Giles, Mark (Sandie) Giles, David (Barbara) Thompson, Paul (Joette) Thompson, and Jean (Bruce) Drake; 14 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Rasp; and numerous other family and friends.
