Sylvia R. Massien, age 92, of Hoover, passed away Tuesday, June 14.

She was born August 27, 1923 in Cleveland, OH to Isadore and Rose Brondfield. She was a loyal and dedicated wife and mother. She performed with the Cleveland Ballet for 13 years. She enjoyed a long career as an office administrator. From Cleveland, she moved to West Palm, Fa., before eventually moving to Hoover ten years ago.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

Mrs. Massien is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Albert Massien.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Massien (Jeanon) and Robert Massien (Connie).
