NORTH SHELBY – A five-vehicle wreck has led to the closure of both eastbound lanes of U.S. 280 at Highland Lakes.

No injuries have been reported from the wreck, which happened at about 10:55 a.m. June 17, according to Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Debbie Sumrall.

Motorists should expect long delays in the area until the scene clears. Sumrall said the amount of time the eastbound lanes of U.S. 280 will be closed is uncertain.
